Soccer 101

Ava is signed up for some activities through Plano Parks and Recreation this Spring....swimming, gymnastics and soccer. Saturday was her first class with all the other 3 and 4 year olds. Her coach has a VERY heavy Spanish accent so watching them all together was pretty entertaining...... Here are a few videos from her first class yesterday...and a few drill videos....

Naptime for Everyone!!!

Today during Ava's nap I went in to check on her and this is how I found her. Along with her 9 babies or cousins she sometimes calls them. Each one was covered with a blanket which is really funny because she hates being covered up....Too Cute not to share!!!

Then there's my main man Max, who woke up right after Ava fell asleep. My timing way off...Oh well! He and I cleaned the house getting ready for the weekend!!

This little girl of mine.....Ava Louise has turned 3 and hit the "I'm not a baby, I'm a big girl" stage. I was picking up around the house and mainly in Max's room tonight and told her..."You should go clean your room" so what did she do??? She said "Okay Momma" and off she went. I went to check on her and she started giving me play by play. "These clothes don't go on my bed, This airplane goes right here" etc. I left her alone for like 5 minutes then went back in to check on her and she was making her bed. Finally she came and got me and was so proud of herself....I tell you this is a first.....and hopefully not the last!! GO AVA LOU!!!

I told her we would take pictures to show her Daddy who's out to dinner with work...here are a few!!!

It seems like I've posted a bunch about bathtime around here lately, and maybe so. But they are both at such a cute age to see together in the tub. And, they say and do some really funny things....so here you go! Bathtime again at the Gerlich's!!!!

Max is 11 months today...

The pictures are from a few months ago, don't think I ever posted them. Max is 11 months today, and what I thought was 5 teeth turned out to be 6. The weekend has been rough on him....teething the whole time. He now has 3 on top and 3 on bottom. We love him so much, 1 year in a month!!!

Alma Turned 40...and we loved having her here!!!

What a great weekend with some of my most favorite peeps...even if i only got to see them for 5 minutes(whitney). Our big "Alma's turning 40" celebration started out Friday night with Happy Hour at 9 Steakhouse down in Victory Park(right outside American Airlines Center) and then we all went to watch the Mav's beat the Miami Heat...really exciting game and great seats. We ended the night at W Hotel Bar with a few more cocktails and then off to the suburbs for some much needed sleep.

Saturday we did lunch and spent our whole evening at a great Hibachi Rest. with Sushi, drinks and a great band(can't remember the name now...) but it's Jessica's neighbors band and we love her. This woman can sing...so much fun! Dancing, Visiting and all. Then after noticing about 20 missed phone calls between a few of us we hooked up with Whitney and Victor! The party went on to Jessica's and this lady took it home! So great to see everyone, I can't believe it had been 2 years since I'd seen some of them! Oh well.....somethings never change!

December 1-20th-Holiday Catch up!!

Happy Holidays!!! And, like the rest of you we've been very very busy this month. Uncle Stefan was here for two weeks...my personal Manny! While he was here we made a trip to Lubbock for the 17th or 18th annual Christmas Party my dear friend Jennifer and Eric host every year(I am a co-founder of the event, by the way). Then back to Plano for the NDSATcom Christmas party at the Morris's home, which was a blast...
My Dad was in town for the Cowboy game(booooo, but we'll get it back)...and then just shopping and planning for Ava's 3rd birthday party and Christmas. Here are a few pictures on my camera I've been needing to download.

Ava's School Christmas Program.

Tonight was Ava's Christmas Program. Her class dressed as angels and sang Away in a Manger. She did so great, compared to last year. If you don't remember she cried for "MOmmA" the whole time. She's really the sweetest girl, enjoy!!!
