ND Satcom's Christmas Party 2008

This year at Matthias's company Christmas party we ate and gambled. It was so much fun, I perfected the game of craps and am ready to win some money next trip to Vegas. We both had a great time and had fun visiting with everyone. Their company has sure grown, not the small little Dallas office any more.

When we arrived home from Thanksgiving in Lubbock we had to whip the house and rooms into shape for Uncle Stefan and Sabrina's arrival. Here are Ava and Max after a long days travel. Let me tell you these two know how to travel, my little experts!

Lubbock Turkey Trot 2008

Think Matthias placed third in his age group, Les and I like 5th and 6th, I was just happy to run the entire 2 miles with out stoping. Ran it in 22 min.

Ms. Britta got a medel in the 2 mile! So Proud of her.

Jazz Girl Reunion 2008,...Lubbock Texas, Tech vs Baylor weekend.

Think this is the 8th annual Jazz Girl Reunion for all of us old Jazz Girls. We had a very busy and fun weekend....think I'm liking the lake or river a little better, but it was great to see everyone and that's all I'm gonna say...heehee!

Where I've been and what's been going on?

First off...my card to my computer that makes the wireless internet work got into the hands of either Max or Ava and is kaput. So, at nights when I use to sit in the family room with everyone I would hang on the computer and blog all my pictures, now I have to come in to our room which doesn't give for much family time.

Also, I've become hooked to Face book and have found so many friends and even family there. So, i've been posting pictures there and not here.

Then maybe I've been a little overwhelmed with Family visits to and from and just the holidays in general.

So, here I am. HELLO all my faithful readers I'll try to do a better job here and at least get the main pictures posted from our doings.

Time with friends this Month...

I had a Friday night dinner date with an old friend and her son last weekend. Krista and Klyde and I did dinner and a few spots before calling it a night. Krista and I became good friends after her cousin and I ran around for years in Lubbock--Kerry Hart. When I moved to Austin, Krista was going to UT and we did alot of running around. My Aunt Mary now lives in Krista and Kerry's grandmothers house in Post.....small world.

Lee Harvey's is a great place with an Austin feel, live music in an outside setting...right in the middle of downtown Dallas.

Then it was off to Austin to spend one night with Jeff and Wayne and the next with our cousins. Jeff, Wayne and Ms Norma(their mom) treated us to some home cooked meals and entertainment. Thanks you guys, the kids are big time fans now!

Second night in Austin we stayed with Greatest, Adrian and Andrew while Chris and Leslie we're in NYC. Just snapped a few at the end of the day while Greatest held a little storybook time..
