Arrival in Germany!!

Scene right before landing, luckly we had the entire row above the bulk head seats. They slept solid the last 2 hours of the flight.

Then we moved to the rental car for a 2 hour drive to Thalfingen

Gerlich Family leaves for Germany!

The best trip we've taken so far. The kids did great and we all had several cat naps along the way. Ava is such and big girl and Max, well he did pretty good considering we're in the middle of some mild terrible two's action.

We arrived in Frankfurt right at 9 hours, and the temp was 0°. It actually wasn'nt so bad considering some parts of Germany had -20° earlier this month.

Omi had the beds, socks and toys ready to go when we arrived...we we're all excited to see her. Uncle Stefan arrived just in time for dinner and then he and matthias ran down stairs to his apartment to watch the big rival game between Byran Munich and Stuttgart....soccer that is. Well off I go, Omi's giving baths upstairs...

Ps. House went on the market today and we will have an offfer in about 3 or 4 hours....I KNOW I Knew it would do great!

Off to Germany tomorrow!

It's time for our annual visit to see Omi and Uncle Stefan!! We fly out tomorrow at 3pm and arrive in Germany around 7am on Tuesday. A 9-10 hour flight which will be midnight Texas time when we arrive. I promise to keep my blog updated during our trip as its my connection to home and my online scrapbook.

Say a little prayer for Ava 4 and Max 1 *almost two-Feb.20th*. We're not so worried about Ava this trip as she's become such a big girl lately. However our little dude may wear us down....hopefully not to quick!

Amanda and Joseph in 2008, Joe is in Iraq again, prayers for him and we'll be hanging with Amanda at some point.

ps. Get to meet our littlest cousin Thomas while we're there, Amanda and Joe become the proud parents in Dec. YIPEEE! We'll make sure to give him many many kisses, all 1.5 months of him!

We all know pretty much how everyone feels about Tech's performance....not much to say about it. But I tell you it was great being there. My Dad came up with 45 yard line, lower level seats that you couldn't beat for Matthias, Chris, Kerry and I..... Thank you! We had a blast and we Love You Big.....

New Years Eve/3rd Anniversary-
