Off to Vegas we go!

After our stay in Lubbock we headed to Vegas for two days. Not so much to gamble but more for the pool and sunshine. We had a great time and ate a whole bunch...highly recommend BLT Burger in the Mirage....we hardly left the hotel except for our one night of exploring. I think Caroline and Michael got out more than us. And they both had a day of the stomach flu while we we're there.....so I think a part of them was ready for a change which we did on Tuesday....

Saturday in Lubbock with the Scholtz's

These are all from our weekend in Lubbock. We had a little get together before the Texas Tech vs. Mass. game. Caroline and Michael loved all of it but became a little bored during the game....as we all did. Papa bought them their Tech ball caps and I made sure they we're decked out in their red and black.My girl....think its time for a new cheerleader outfit...

We're Back!!!!

We've been busy with our great friends from Germany for a few weeks. I'm sure you've been wondering what the heck's been going on....just a little traveling. Caroline and Michael flew in from Frankfurt on Sept. 17th and left today. In two weeks we visited Dallas/Plano, Lubbock, Vegas, Austin and then back to the Gerlich homestead. Today we dropped them back at DFW airport and they should be arriving back in Germany in a couple of hours. We miss them already and look forward to visiting them in July!!
