Ava and her buddies
I took Ava and two of my babysitters(Seham) kids to Celebration Park this week. Seham just had her 4th baby, a little boy he's soooo cute and tiny. I thought I'd help her out and take 1/2 of her work with us for the day. Plus, Ava loves her kids so much. We played at the spray park, had a picnic and then we went on a nature walk through the park, lots of fun.
Oh and stopped at good ole Sonic for a Creamslush....yummmie!
Max and Ava....waiting on the others to get their swimsuits on....

Joseph is one of Ava's favorite buddies, he starts school this year and is such a great kid!!

Bye Bye Condo!!!

Well I'm no longer a landlord. I sold my 1/1 condo in Austin last week to my current tenant. Here are a few pictures of what it looked like after we(kerry did the wooden floors) finished remodeling it back in 2002. Thanks to a crazy house market in central Austin, we did pretty darn good....lets just say, my student loans are finally paid off!! I'm gonna say it again..."MY STUDENT LOANS ARE FINALLY PAID OFF"........YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
A Day with Uncle Kelly, Adrian and Andrew
Ava, Max and I spent some time in Austin last week while our daddy was out of town. Uncle Kelly and I decided it would be fun to have a all day outing with my two babies, Adrian and Andrew. We we're right, but boy we're we tired at the end of the day.
Here we are on our way to see Ratatouille. Everyone did really great and we stayed for the entire film. Adrian did the best as far as being into the movie, Andrew and Ava did a lot of walking around and Max just needed a little bounce or bottle to keep him happy. Over all though it was a really fun movie.
I love this picture of Super Uncle Kelly and his nieces and nephews..
After the movie we headed to our favorite Kid-friendly/dog-friendly restaurant in south Austin...Freddie's. we took over the play scape and had lunch before heading over to the the Austin Children's museum...
Jennifer came to town!
Dress-up
One day while I was showering and getting ready, Ava took over my
We've had a great summer, Ava's been busy learning how to swim. She is by no means swimming but she is not afraid of the water and hangs out in her one piece float suit. She's even jumping of the edge of the pool into the water....not afraid at all.
We've also got a bunch of potty training going on. I like to pretend we're 100%, but the truth is we still have a few accidents here and there. However in the last two days she's had only one and that was my fault for not getting her there in time. She even napped today accident free...yipeeee!
She's looking forward to School starting or maybe that's me.heehee... She going to the same Mother's Day Out program she did last year, for two days a week. We found some old Valentines from last year and she's obbsessed with them, we play and play with them everynight, "Mommy, can you get these ready for my friends?" Don't think she understands Feb. 14th is a few days away.
She's so very independent it's crazy, wanting to do everything herself, sometimes its hard to let her, but for the most part we give in and let her figure it out.
And of course she's our Bestest Big Sister!!
