Ulm is very close to the Alps,(which you can see on the map) and on a clear day you can see the Alps from the city. Being only 62 miles away--we plan(big word being PLAN) on skiing while we're there. Ulm is located in the state of Bavaria, and is surrounded by forest, hills and the Danube river-Europe's second longest river. The Munster is in the back ground. Which has the worlds highest church steeple. 768 steps.
Ulm is known for the Munster and is also the birthplace of Albert Einstein.
Get this Ulm was founded around 850, Dallas was founded around 1841.
The cities population is estimated at about 120,000.
