The Rae Cosmetic Girls!!!

April-makeup artist, Claire(also 6 months prego)-assistant, Me, and Rochelle

Rochelle Rae, one of my dearest friends is rocking in the make-up industry! She developed and launched her own line of mineral based makeup about a year ago. Rae Cosmetics. This weekend she was at the Texas Beauty Show in Dallas promoting and giving classes. Last night I got to hang out with my old Kansas City/Austin girl for dinner. It was great to see her and meet all of her team!!!

Later in the afternoon we were off to Fall Festival at Ava's school. Of course so much fun for her: Jump house, petting zoo, pony rides, games, candy, on and on ...oh and hotdogs too!!

What do you think???

Embarrassed, that's all I have to say about this guy! I'm embarrassed for the Cowboys, for Dallas, for Texas, for Parcells, for Jerry Jones, on and on, but mostly for HIM!! I could'nt even watch the game the other night with out feeling like we were dealing with a 14 year old. Every time the camara was on him I thought to myself, "Pppppplease act like an adult". The faces he makes, the attitude he throws around on the field and sidelines, man I thought I was watching "The Desperate Athlete". With the camara's going back and forth from the field to T.O. on the sidelines, was this a new TV Series?? In fact he'll probally have his own reality show in a couple of years.... Ugghhh give me a break!!!

Yesterday at lunch it was the topic of almost all of my tables...."Did you watch the cowboys last night", and on and on...........
Someone messed up a long time ago by letting him get away with this act. A coach?? A parent?? I don't know, but for me it's just plain embarrassment.

Dinner at the Morris's house!

When we call Chris and Amy to go to dinner, 9 times out of 10 we end up over at their house grilling steaks. Okay, maybe not that often, but this weekend Chris wanted to try out his new grill, so we loaded up and headed north. Plus, Amy is the best cook ever so we don't turn them down very often. Their new house is so beautiful and they have done a wonderful job fixing it up. Here are a few pictures from the night!!!This was Amy's chair when she was little and it's the first thing Ava wants when we arrive...
Out on the back porch checking out Chris's new grill...
Amy in the kitchen...
Check out their pool, its huge and the hottub too!!!

Dee Dee and her babies at the pumpkin patch!!

I'm not a big Halloween person, use to be, but the past several years it's just kinda wore me out. Thank goodness for a few little people in my life, they've helped me rekindle the fire. Not so much for me but for them. I'm really looking forward to dressing Ava up this year and taking her trick or treating, she'll be all about it! We made it to the pumkin patch in Lubbock last week and here is how it went.......
Did you know I have scarecrows in the family???

Hot or not???

I have to admit, I've been sucked into The Bachelor this season. Really only because of all the backstabbing and catfighting going on, I swear girls are soooo crazy. And this guy in the picutes is not very attractive at all. It's seems so funny to me that they are all dying over him. What do you think?? Hot or not?? You decide....

Cousins and more cousins!!!

These are my Rowden side of the family cousins. The first picture is of all my first cousins and the next picture is of all of our babies, minus the oldest great-grand, Devin who had to go play some friday night football. I think we all look really nice and it was sooooo great to see everyone. See ya'll in Fredricksburg, remember you all promised you'd be there!!!!!

Red River Shootout!!!

This weekend, here in Dallas is the big rivalry between the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners and I'm stuck right in the middle of it. I work a double today and was told we'll be super busy with fans from both schools.

I've decided to wear my Texas Tech baseball hat all day and night, in support of the best team in the big 12. Should be fun. Besides what will they say to a pregnant lady who's bringing them there food and drinks....better watch out!!!!!!!

It's Over!!

What's become one of my favorite things to do again came to an end last night. Jessica and I finished our Tennis Leauge losing 2-6 2-6 in doubles. This last season was a real challenge being pregnant and all, but Jessica was a big sport in supporting my slow tired ars. We'll be back next year or hopefully this next summer. I'll for sure be ready!!

Oh and a big shout out to the Birthday boy!!
Happy Birthday Anthony!!!

A new start!!

We joined a new gym this past weekend, LA Fitness. Its been under construction all summer and finally opened last week. Every thing is brand new and it's soooo awesome. Raquetball and basketball courts, swimming pool, aerobic and cycle studios....and tons of BRAND NEW Equipment and machines(the best part). It's my favorite place to go right now. Oh, and the daycare is awesome, huge room with tons of climb on toys and other stuff....Ava LOVES it. I worked out extra long yesterday just for her, b/c I knew she wouldnt be ready to go after 45 min. I love it and if you ever get one in your neighbor hood(their opening up everywhere) I highly reccomend it!!

Poooooor Aggies!!!

What a great day!! I have to say I was sweating it a little at the end, not a very good second half. But, we were the better team and pulled it off!! And what a catch Robert Johnson!!!!

Friday Night Lights!!

We went to Matthias and Ava's first high school football game friday night. We live like one minute from the Plano High School football field, so on our way to get a milkshake we decided to go to the game instead. Plano West High School against Richardson Eagals. It was really alot of fun, pack stadium, huge band and cheeleaders(although I swear we cheered more than these girls, they did a chant every 6 min, unlike the Slaton Cheerleaders of 89' who cheered there arses off all night....lol) Matthias and Ava loved it and Plano West Killed Richardson. 67-8!!!!

Good times for a friday night...

Bouncing Baby BOY!!

So the household stays even! The sonogram was great, everything measured out perfectly and looked good, Heart, Spine, Brain, Bones, etc. He was grabbing his feet during the sonogram...We just pray for another great 20 weeks...Come On Feb.!!!

The Battle of being a mom!!

So this week I've decided to find Miss Ava a Mother's Day Out program to go to. I've found two and will visit both today and tomorrow and pick the best. These kinda programs are one, two, or three days a week from 9am to 2pm. I'll probally do 2 days a week and if she likes it go to three days a week. She loves going to the daycare at my gym, but an hour 4 times a week is not enough for her, she absolutly loves all the action and is never ready to leave, just like her momma!!!

But don't think this decision was an easy one with out any tears, I cried all morning on mon because of the quilt. Even knowing it will be soooo much fun for her. I just feel quilty that I can't fill up her day with tons of excitement and learning and happiness. On the other hand know that I'm not super-momma and outside stimulation and activities are just all right. I'm now ready for some structured fun and watching her making some new little friends. Plus when baby #2(we find out today the sex)comes, I can get a break a couple times a week while she plays with her friens. I'm sure another day of quilt will arise from this too...I'll keep you blogged on this!!

My Futures so bright!!!

Ready, Set, JUMP!!!!!
Oh and Jennifer, Your on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First Hair Cut!!

Before!!

During!!

After!!!

So, this past weekend Ava got her first offical Hair cut. It was only a few snips here and a few snips there, but it was time to shape up her beautiful blond locks. She did soooo good, I was impressed. The first of many to come, a steping stone on the road to beauty!!!
