We we're in Lubbock again this weekend. We had a chance to go out to eat with some of our old friends. Here's a picture of that night!

ANT BITE!!

This is what we did on our Sunday night. After a quick trip to Lubbock, we drove home Sunday afternoon and ended up in the Emergency room 4 hours later. Matthias decided to mow the yard at 7pm. At 7:45pm he was bitten by an ant/s, on his foot about 4 times. Next thing you know his face was swollen X 3 and rashes all over his body. Off we went to the ER. By the time we got there it was an hour later and he had severe rashes under his arms and neck. They got him on an IV of drugs and Benadryl, which made him sick and dizzy, but did the trick.....We we're on our way home by 10:30. All of that from some tiny little piss of *%#@ ant...ugghhhh.
Luckily he was okay, I was really scared for a minute b/c it affected him so quickly. I havent used my hazard lights in years....that was fun!!! So, let this be a lesson to you. If you are bitten by any insect and you break out in any kind of rash or have shortness of breath, get your botty to the ER!!!!

Whitney had a Girl!!!

"IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!! Shelby is her name and she is 6lbs. 10oz. 18" long. Mommy is a exhausted from almost 24 hours of labor. Whit is doing fine but really tired." Congrats Whit and Victor!!

Lubbock and Amarillo

So for my birthday weekend we went to Lubbock and Amarillo to hang out and visit some of our favorite people...Here they are:

Up in good ole Amarillo, we had to go check out the Davies families new home which is absolutly beautiful and enjoy Kellyn and Blaze. The next day we got to hang out with Tiffeni and her girls! Lots of fun...














Tracee brought Tatum over to play with Ava!! It was great to see Tracee and her pregnant little self!! Thanks for our lunches too!! YUMMMM Jazz!!!

We had such a great time....Ava loves her Papa and DeeDee and got to hang with them alot. I can't say we we're ready to get home, but once we got here we we're happy to see our Daddy!!

Home Sweet Home!!!

Oh to be 35!! So, I woke up this morning to flowers and cards and gifts....I love birthdays. To bad I cant sit on a patio (its suppose to be 100 here today) and sip on a margarita (I'm prego) all day. But thats okay, b/c I'll just play with Ava Lou allday and go to dinner with my man tonight. And make the drive to Lubbock tomarrrow to spend the weekend with some of my favorite people!! So, Happy Birthday to me!! My favorite is the card where Matthias helped Ava write her name! Love it!!

Our Omi in Germany sent Ava this great little summer dress. So, we had to model it yesterday so we could send photos to her. Of course I had to get in one of them too, hahaha!!!

We got to see our new bambino today. So, freaking amazing!! Only 1.37 cm long.....crazy, huh! We got to see the heartbeat and everything. Very, cool! So we're 6 weeks and 4 days. I know its really early to be so forsure, but I can't help it. I feel great other than no energy and a little quesy in the mornings...hopefully that will all pass! Due date----Feb, 20th 2007!! Hopefully I can get the picture up soon!!!

Fourth of July weekend!!!

So, today we had our first Dr. appt. for baby #2!! And I am for sure 6 weeks 2 days. Baby will be due Feb. 20th. We're super excited and I know Ava Louise will be such a great big sister. She's kinda bossy (have no idea where she got that from)so baby 2 will have lots to keep up with.

Ava turned 18 months yesterday and has her 18 month old check-up today....More shots ugghhhhh! But she's doing great and is the biggest talker she likes to tell me "HEY" and Is soooooooooooooooo in love with her daddy. If Matthias and I hug, we get a little growl out of her, sooo funny and amazing to see that raw emotion of Jealousy come out of her!!


So, in celebration of the holiday weekend, Matthias and I are going to see Superman tonight. I've heard great reviews and I'll let you know what we think!! Happy fourth of July!!! I love July!!!
