We leave tomorrow at 10:55am and arrive home at 2pm....3 hour plane ride, not exactly with the time change and all its a 10 hour flight! I'm excited to get home and back in the swing of things, but can not say enough about my family here. Thank you Stefan, Omi and Gerd...for your time and patience!!! Omi for cooking all the wonderful meals---this woman could have a 5 star restaurant if she wanted, we are truly lucky to sit at her table. And the list goes on with all the things she does for us!! Gerd for letting us take over your sleeping room---and my blogging on your computer....and your time with the babes! Stefan for being a wonderful Uncle and broter-in-law, and for taking Lisa and I out for my last Friday night out German style--so much freaking fun(sorry lisa would not allow me to bring my camera on this night).

Saturday backyard action...
Amanda and Joseph in Ulm
Time for some fun in Günzburg
Friday we joined Daniella and her 3 boys for some fun at a Jump house type place(forgot the name of the place) in Günzburg. It was lots of fun and let me tell you these kids, Max included played their little hearts out! Jordon, Ryan and Tyler are adorable boys and they played so good with Ava and Max. Ava talked about Jordon all day yesterday, doing art and everything for him....pretty cute! Thanks for the invitations Daniella! See you guys next year!
Last day of German Kindergarten...
I blogged last week that Ava was able to go to German kindergarten while we we're here. She ended up going 7 total day and did super. The teachers told us on Friday "she communicated with the kids in English and they communicated back in German." Amazing how children figure things out on their own. She had a great time and I'm proud of her for going each day.....

Afternoon train ride to Friedrichshafen, Germany
Wednesday Omi, Max, Ava and I took a train ride from Thalfingen to Ulm. Then we hopped on another train from Ulm to Friedrichshafen. ND SatCom is based out of Friedrichshafen, which is on the northern side of Lake Constance near the boarders of Austria and Switzerland. Matthias worked for the day and then picked us up for a ride back to Thalfingen. The kids really enjoyed it.....beautiful views along the way...

Yesterday afternoon Omi, Ava and I attened and Osterkonzert (Easter Concert) in Roggenburg, another small village outside of Ulm. A gigantic Organ played from the back of the church and 5 men accompanied singing in Latin. Now a Catholic Parish it was very moving and unbelievably beautiful. Check it out here.... Roggenburg Abby
