Labor Day Weekend...

Dinner out at The Shops at Legacy on Sunday night...I think this is our first family picture in a long time...

Of we go to the Tech vs. Smu game....Ava's first football game.

It took the entire first quarter for Ava to warm up, but after that she had a blast...

After the game we headed back to the Gaither's to pick up Max. Ava was very moved by the game. We had to talk about the "Red Raiders" the whole way to Rockwall and then the whole way home. It went something like this....."Red Raiders don't eat, they don't swing, they don't ski, their not scared of gorillas, they don't have mommies and daddies, they don't drive cars, they don't play with toys, they don't go to my school, and they don't talk to me because I'm to little"......and on and on...

But they do..."wear hat's and run and swing in big swings......60 minutes later.

The game was a lot of fun especially since we won, but we missed the band being in the stands. With 49pts, you can imagine how many times we yearned for the Fight Song. There were tons of Tech fans scattered through the stands and it showed, at one point "RAIDER>>>POWER" was louder than the SMU band could ever dream of being. We got constant rain drops for the 1st quarter then the clouds slightly parted and the rest of the game was so very pleasant....Thank you God!!!

Graham Harrell was awesome.....Michael Crabtree rocked.....DANNY, DANNY!!!!

I wish we could go to ever game, Gerald Ford Stadium has nothing on Jones Stadium and the fans that pack it.....Go Tech!! See you all Oct. 13th!!!!
