I'm sure this was at the Rankin Reunion in 1974-3 years old.
We'll be at this reunion in Fredricksburg in about a month.

In the Capitan Mountains at my Aunt Brenda and Uncle Roberts cabin. We took over the entire mountain when we vacationed here. The big swing, our own motorcycles, swimming, hiking, games on the patio...Oh the memories!!!

Wildness at bedtime...

Max likes to terriorize his sister a bit. Not sure where he got this from but he's pretty rough with her...I quess you say, "He's all boy".

Tonight for during our prayers Ava wanted to pray for:

I told her to smile like a ballerina....here you go. Ava's been busy with summer camp at a gymnastic place here in Plano and loving it. She's all about swimming at the local Parks N Rec pools, and just keeping up with me and baby brother.

Max has started to talk a little bit more. He can say Please or rather "Plea-ba-ba", not sure what the ba-ba is but its pretty cute. He can say cookie, down, shoe, baby, uh-oh, thank you, night night, and a few more. Of course all in his own little 16 1/2 month old way. He's got Bye Bye down with the wave and everything. He's also got alot of the animal sounds down pretty good. So much fun!!!

Kelly met his Hero!

While we were off marrying Erin and Jennifer. Kelly was doing his part to make sure Rothbury ran smoothly. From driving 311 to the batting cages to shuttling film makers around, he said it could not have gone any better.

And the highlight of the weekend. He gets to meet his hero Dave Matthews....

This was a few weeks ago at the mall in Lubbock with DeeDee....good times in the Zebra Jeep....

This was today. Max 16 1/2 months. I was waiting to give him his nap after we picked Ava up at Summer Camp. But sometimes naps just happen....

How sweet is our little dude.....ohhhhhh, matthias told me today he wants to keep him this age forever....any ideas?

Remember this ?? Towards the last days when he was sleeping in our room still. He was 5 months, Ava and I we're up already and I walked back in to find him crashed like this...

That's all for now from my cell camera. Looking at the mall picture makes me wonder if I lost it there. I'm so sad, oh well life goes on, I guess!

As I mentioned in a post before Eric and Jennifer choose Leather and Lace by Stevie Nicks for their reading at the wedding. I have been humming and singing it for the last 3 days. So maybe this will help put it to rest. Cheers Jen and Eric, and Tracee for pulling all that emotion back in before everyone of us lost it with you!!!

July 5th- The big day begins....

So much to do this day. Rehearsal on the lawn, Bridesmaid Luncheon at Z'Tejas, Makeup and Hair at RAE Cosmetics Studio, get dressed and photos, ceremony and reception. I have to say it was such a crazy day and the Bride did fabo! My favorite was the ceremony for sure, with the reception in close second. They had everyone walking out to a string quartet playing all Beatles music, the reading-Leather and Lace by Stevie Nicks then Jennifer and Eric read their own vows to one another. Not a dry eye in the place the whole ceremony! It was just perfect for them.

A bit of a slow start but by the time we really needed to get going.....all was just fine!!!
Jennifer and Sandy started off at RAE. April and her crew did such an awesome day on everyone! Fun to spend the day there getting ready! Love me some RAE!!!
